This article is not directly related to web development but somehow I think it’s necessary for me to put it here for our learning process. An interesting thought that crossed my mind this month was:
The first thing we need, in order to write a good story is if we knew exactly what will be the end of the story
so actually to start, we need to know what will be the end, to write the goal, then come back to the first page to draw the plan.
Why Setting a goal is important?
It’s like the story of Alice in Wonderland when the cat asked Alice where she wanted to go, and Alice replied: “I don’t know”. The cat said, “Then, it really doesn’t matter, does it?”. Any direction you go is probably a “correct direction” if you have no goal.
But, if you have one, you’ll know somehow which road you should take. Even if right now you cannot see which one is the road, as Rumi said, the road will appear if you just go out.
What is your actions plan? What about the SMART one?
We all know that your ultimate goal idea probably cannot be achieved overnight. The long-lasting success is achieved when taking little, measured incremental steps at a time.
In my research, I found this interesting term we can think about when setting up the actions plan:
A SMART action plan incorporates 5 characteristics of a goal:
- Relevant, and

Keeping Good Company
People have a huge impact on our lives. “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with,” says American entrepreneur and motivational speaker Jim Rohn. To be in a good supportive circle is important. They are people that will inspire you to be a better person, provide you with the motivation to achieve your goals, empower you to make the changes you need to succeed and cheer on your success.
Positivity toward your dream will eventually resonate with the surrounding, attracting the best possible people, best circumstances, and creating the best opportunity to make your dreams come true.
